One of my favorite holiday-time activities and best memories is shopping with my mom and my sister(s) after Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s completely chaotic, crowded, cold/snowy, festive, and SO MUCH FUN at the mall in the wee hours of the morning on Black Friday! I never even really remember what I bought (IF I buy anything), but it’s such a fun adventure when you go in with the right mindset. Oh – and the people watching! You guys, they come out of the woodwork on Black Friday…
This year, Ben & I spent Thanksgiving on our own, here in California. At what’s typically our bedtime, we decided to go and check out the insanity at the nearby mall. Parking was pleasant. Store lines were short. I found clothes in my size. Is this Black Friday?! Smaller crowds and slower sales? What is going on?!
Fast-forward to this morning. Hooray!! It’s here! That means it’s the beginning of the holiday and Christmas season! Finding the perfect gift – and not just a gift card – for someone else is just as satisfying as buying something for myself, so I’ll help you out this holiday with a few gift guides. Let’s start with the ladies…
Here are my best Gifts For Her picks for all of the pretty sisters, best friends, and moms on your list. The theme here is accessories: go fancy & pair with a black dress, or go casual/polished & wear with a plain t-shirt.
2. Naked Palette – You can’t go wrong: basic colors, lots of choices, and lasts forever.
